An Arctic Airmass Will Be Suspended Over NYC For Most Of The Week

After receiving a second snowfall this weekend, a cold wave will remain in NYC as an arctic airmass will persist over regions through most of the week, according to the National Weather Service. The NYC Emergency Management issued a winter weather alert on Sunday, January 19th through Monday, January 20th. Though the city is no longer under any weather alert, warning, or advisory, frigid temperatures are expected to continue on throughout the week.
