A Letter From the President Tony Rogers;

As one of the most culturally rich and ethnically diverse areas in the country, we invite you to join us for delicious cuisine, amazing entertainment, a rich history, and outstanding cultural events. The Harlem Tourism Board’s (HTB) major goal is to create partnerships with tourism-related businesses in Harlem and members of New York City and New York State’s tourism industry and become a mutually beneficial economic growth engine for the best-known urban community in the world. 

“Harlem is currently the 2nd most requested urban tourist destination in New York City and is known internationally for its history and culture” states William “Tony” Rogers, President of the Harlem Tourism Board and co-founder of Harlem Week Inc. the largest urban cultural and economic development event in the United States. The mission of HTB will be to connect the dots that will allow the growing Harlem Tourism Industry to become a major economic development tool that creates business and career opportunities. 

The Harlem Tourism Board is the Economic Development and Marketing Arm for the rapidly growing Harlem Tourism Industry. HTB is your one-stop-shop for developing contacts, relationships, and counsel on how to explore and navigate the best known urban community in the world. 

The HTB website www.goharlem.org can provide you information on restaurants, places of interest, special events and historic locations in the Greater Harlem Area. We can also assist you with contacts for individual and group tour packages. 

HTB will help you find the right people to plan your unique Harlem Experience. Tony Rogers

“William A. “Tony” Rogers is one of the most consequential figures in the modern history of Harlem. Over five decades, he has played a central role in the cultural, economic, and civic revitalization of the world’s most recognized urban community — bridging urban policy, cultural institution-building, tourism economic development, and international cultural diplomacy.”

William “Tony” Rogers is the President and CEO of Urbanology Systems LLC, a New York based strategic management and marketing consultant company, he is the founder of the Onuwon Wellness Group a wellness marketing company.  He is a certified Ayurvedic Medicine practitioner, a six-degree black belt in GoJu Karate, and the first African American trained to be a Korean Taoist Ki wellness master he is co-founder of the Harlem Ki Energy Wellness Center; and founder of the annual Harlem Holistic Wellness Week (H2W).
Rogers is a co-founder of HARLEM WEEK Inc., the largest urban cultural/economic development festival on the East Coast. President of the Harlem Tourism Board, Co-Chair of the Tourism and Hospitality Committee for the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce and Founder/CEO of ARTWAR Travel and Tours Inc. Rogers is a Chief of the Manwule Village in Northern Ghana.
He is also the Chief Diaspora Development Officer for The Northern Ghana Diasporan Association. Rogers served as Urban Policy Advisor for five City College of New York presidents and has been an executive board member of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce for over 40 years. Rogers is an author, a newspaper columnist, a radio talk show host, and producer/host of the UrbanologyShow aired on the Soul City TV Network.

Richard Cox

Board of Directors
Richard Cox is a New York Community leader and the Founder and Executive Director of Team Unity Incorporated, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to advancing community wellness, equity, and opportunity by addressing the Social Determinants of Health. A native of Harlem’s historic Sugar Hill neighborhood, Richard brings a lifelong connection to Upper Manhattan and decades of experience in community organizing. Under his leadership, Team Unity has developed key initiatives such as UnityMarketsNY, Convent Avenue CSA, and the Harlem Unity Market—community health markets designed to improve access to nutritious food while empowering local small businesses and supporting neighborhood economic vitality.
Beyond his focus on health equity and local food access, Richard serves as a licensed New York City Tour Guide and Director of the UNITYTour Experience. As a member of the Harlem Tourism Board, he leverages his deep historical knowledge and grassroots roots to showcase Harlem’s rich cultural legacy, historic architecture, and local businesses. Through curated walking tours and community-centered itineraries, he connects residents and global travelers alike to the living history, arts, and vibrant commercial corridors of Upper Manhattan.
Richard’s broader portfolio extends to sports, youth development, and civic leadership through Unitysports Productions, the events and recreational arm of Team Unity. Over his 30-year career in nonprofit leadership and advisory service, he has built lasting partnerships with municipal agencies, public health organizations, and local coalitions to advocate for equitable development. Grounded in academic credentials spanning Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and Nonprofit Management, Richard continues to design resident-centered solutions that honor community voice and elevate Harlem on both a local and global stage.

Ingrid Prescott

Executive Director

Ingrid Prescott is an accomplished executive leader, digital strategist, and compliance specialist dedicated to economic equity, cultural heritage preservation, and commercial corridor vitality across Greater Harlem. As Executive Director of the Harlem Tourism Board (HTB), Ms. Prescott oversees the organization’s strategic growth, digital transformation, institutional grant portfolio, and merchant equity initiatives across Manhattan Community Boards 9, 10, 11, and 12.
With over a decade of corporate experience specializing in commercial audit, contract oversight, and risk optimization—including strategic compliance and auditing work for major institutions such as Toys R Us, Goldman Sachs, and ServiceNow—Ms. Prescott brings an exceptionally rigorous, data-driven framework to non-profit governance and community development. Implementing the Upper Manhattan Local Asset Mapping Project Initiative (2026-2027).
At HTB, Ms. Prescott bridges Upper Manhattan’s historic legacy with modern digital infrastructure. She directs multi-faceted public humanities initiatives, builds high-impact corporate partnerships with major financial institutions and travel partners, and leads capital circulation programs that directly support local minority- and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs).

Kia Rogers

Director of Arts & Culture Connection
With a background in psychology and art history, Kia Rogers is committed to exploring innovative ways to connect people with art. She seeks to create accessible experiences that foster creativity and learning. In collaboration with community spaces that challenge hierarchy within the cultural and educational landscape, Kia hopes to open opportunities for diverse audiences to immerse themselves in the world of art.
For seven years, Kia has spent her summers assisting the organization of community events for Harlem Week. Partnering with various cultural institutions, such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Schomberg Center, Kia helped create meaningful learning opportunities for
Harlem’s youth and adults.
Kia also has experience working at cultural institutions that prioritize education as a central part of their mission. During her time at the Frances Young Tang Teaching Museum, she led exhibition tours and facilitated open discussions that encouraged visitors to engage deeply with contemporary art and share their interpretations of the work on view. She later assisted in planning an exhibition celebrating the 50th anniversary of Black Dimensions in Art (BDA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting artists of the African Diaspora.
Whether through exhibitions, educational programming, or community partnerships, Kia is committed to making art more accessible and relevant to diverse audiences. She looks forward to continuing to learn from artists, educators, and communities while contributing to
institutions that view art as a space for dialogue and discovery.
Kia’s interests lie at the intersection of artistic inquiry and cultural engagement. She hopes to contribute to projects that broaden access to contemporary art while encouraging audiences to consider how visual culture shapes individual perspectives and social understanding.

Faheem
Abdue-Razzaaq

Faheem Abdur-Razzaaq is a college professor, Hip-Hop artist, technology professional, youth mentor, community activist, film producer, audio engineer, podcaster, entrepreneur, and Black history researcher from Harlem, New York City. With more than 35 years of experience in technology and more than 25 years of service to youth and communities, he has dedicated much of his professional and personal life to education, technology, media, mentorship, and creating opportunities for others.
As a college professor, Faheem brings decades of real-world technology experience into the classroom, helping students connect academic concepts with practical applications and emerging technologies. His areas of interest include computer technology, operating systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, media technology, and the rapidly changing role of AI in education and the workforce.
Faheem is also Co-Founder and Partner of TAG TECH Center, a nonprofit media production and technology organization located at 2785 Frederick Douglass Boulevard in Harlem, New York. The 2,500-square-foot facility serves as a community-centered technology and creative production hub providing professional services, training, and opportunities in emerging technology and digital media.
TAG TECH Center’s capabilities include music production and recording, video and digital content production, podcasting, event streaming and live production, artificial intelligence and Large Language Model (LLM) training and development, data loss prevention, video game development, and other technology services. The Center is designed to bring together technology, media production, education, entrepreneurship, and workforce development while expanding access to advanced technology resources within the Harlem community.
For more than 25 years, Faheem has worked with young people through nonprofit and community-based organizations throughout New York City’s five boroughs. His experience includes programs and events associated with Kobe Bryant’s Mamba basketball league, the REVOLT Summit, Hip-Hop artists, community organizations, and youth development initiatives.
Faheem served for 14 years as President of the Schomburg Plaza Residents Council Tenant Association, representing the Harlem community where members of the Exonerated Five once lived. His commitment to leadership and service was also shaped by his experience as both a Scout and Scoutmaster, serving in scouting for approximately 10 years.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of Far Beyond Success, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating private foundation dedicated to providing civic engagement, arts, media, technology education, training, mentorship, and opportunities for youth and adults. Through Far Beyond Success, Faheem works to help individuals gain access to knowledge, technology, creative resources, and opportunities that can improve their educational, professional, and economic futures.
His work also extends into financial literacy and financial education, with a focus on helping individuals and families better understand financial planning, retirement preparation, wealth-building principles, and long-term financial independence.
Whether working in a college classroom, recording studio, technology center, community organization, or mentoring environment, Faheem’s mission remains centered on education, service, access, and opportunity. He believes that technology and information are most powerful when they are used to empower people and strengthen communities.
Following one of the most important lessons he learned through scouting, Faheem remains dedicated to “doing his part” by bringing information, resources, education, technology, and opportunities to the communities he serves.

Griffina S. Blake, M.S.

Board of Directors/Interim Program Director
Griffina S. Blake, M.S., is a distinguished educator, entrepreneur, mentor, and community advocate with more than three decades of experience empowering young people and adults through education, leadership development, entrepreneurship, and creative expression.
A retired New York City educator with 32 years of dedicated service, Ms. Blake has taught literacy, vocational education, leadership, and career development to diverse student populations, including special needs and at-risk youth. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education and a Master of Science in Literacy Education and maintains New York State certifications in both Literacy Education and Vocational Education.
She is the Founder and CEO of Victoria Blake Global Collection LLC, a multifaceted organization dedicated to education, empowerment, wellness, and entrepreneurship. Through her signature Divine Feminine Principle business model, she helps women embrace purpose, leadership, healing, and financial empowerment. Her work also includes financial literacy education, the Oshun Collection of handcrafted natural stone jewelry, and holistic wellness initiatives as an Authorized LifeWave Distributor.
Ms. Blake’s career includes creating innovative educational programs, mentoring future leaders, securing grants, and building community partnerships that uplift underserved populations. Her accomplishments span STEM education, entrepreneurship, media production, aviation education, and youth development.
